Welcome to the world of Omahana, C-ROM’s introspective journey.

Alongside design, music is another world that fascinates me. Being able to work on a project like this one, which brings these two fields together, was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. So he gave me free rein to create the digital and physical visuals (digipack, CD, booklet, etc.).

(My mission)

A visual symphony inspired by Chladni waves.

The story of Omahana takes us deep into the mind and heart of C-ROM, into his memories and deepest emotions. To bring this to life visually, I drew inspiration from the scientific research of Ernst Chaldni. His work makes it possible to “see music” by causing sand to dance on a plate using a sound source in perpetual motion. Thanks to sound frequencies, the plate creates a tangle of lines and curves resembling a labyrinth. Applied to C-ROM’s world, these patterns evoke winding paths, trajectories, and obstacles that embody the reflection of his past. I therefore generated this gray, evolving, and mysterious form in 3D, which appears on the album cover and in its variations.
