In my free time, I like to come up with video concepts. It’s a way for me to create new things without any professional constraints. The idea behind this video is very simple: A man presents the object “chair” and its features as if it were something completely new and never seen before.

Several elements were needed to create this video. First, we needed to make the video simple and playful, just like a real instructional video. Next, we added humor by including a narrator who presents the ad in a neutral tone but doesn’t hesitate to call it silly and criticize it. This narrator is played by Cyan Joyce, an Irish actor I’ve worked with before. And finally, we incorporated humor through 3D animation, sound design, and references to the internet and music. The music is inspired by what’s known as “Sounds Of The Department Store.” These were soundtracks that used to play on loop in department stores back in the day.

The result of this video perfectly captures what I love to do and what I’d like to explore further in the future. It’s a blend of creative techniques, sprinkled with creativity and my personal style.
